Central Ave at Hanna Ave Intersection

Effective May 30th, the contractor will start working at Paris Street going north to Hanna. This work is happening now to allow the contractor to begin construction activities near Seminole Heights Elementary after school ends for the summer.

The Central Avenue and Hanna Avenue intersection will close as work progresses north from Paris Street to Hanna Avenue. Sidewalks will be maintained on at least one side of the construction zone for customers with ADA concerns visiting businesses at the southwest corner of Hanna Avenue and Central Avenue. Parking for these businesses will be in the Seminole Heights United Methodist Church when parking is not accessible in the plaza. ADA access will be maintained from the church driveway utilizing existing sidewalks and ramps at Hanna Avenue or Paris Street.

Work on this intersection will continue until school resumes at the elementary school.

Please note that work in the Hanna Ave/Central Ave intersection may involve some night shift work to connect utilities.
