Patterned Pavement Installation Near Completion

Good day residents,

The first phase of patterned pavement installation was completed on Central Avenue on August 14, 2023 (except Frierson Avenue).

The contractor is in the process of installing white borders on each side of the patterned pavement. The pavement marking work is being conducted at night during off-peak hours and is expected to be complete on August 24, 2023, weather permitting.

In the next few weeks, the asphalt paving is scheduled to be complete on Frierson Avenue and will be followed by the installation of patterned pavement crosswalks.
