North Highland Avenue Temporarily Closed Beginning Feb. 15, 2022 for Utility Construction

A portion of North Highland Avenue between West Hillsborough Avenue and North Violet Street will close at 9 a.m. beginning Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2022, for utility construction. North Highland Avenue between West Frierson Avenue and West Haya Street will close at 9 a.m. Feb. 15, 2022, for the relocation of a sewer line across North Highland Avenue at West Crest Avenue.

North Highland Avenue between West Frierson Avenue and West Haya Street will be open to traffic by 4 p.m. Friday, Feb. 18, 2022, weather permitting.

The sidewalks in the work area will be closed during construction. Pedestrians will be detoured to other available sidewalks with signage.

The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternate routes to avoid traffic congestion.
