Night Work on Nebraska Avenue Dec. 13

The northbound and center lanes of North Nebraska Avenue will be closed at the northern East Caracas Street intersection from 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 13, to 5 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 14. for watermain work. Flaggers will direct traffic in both directions around construction using the southbound lane. Businesses are accessible during the closure.

Please add extra time for travel, follow all posted detours and use caution in the construction zone.

During this work, heavy equipment will travel to and from the work site on Nebraska Avenue to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church at 5103 North Central Avenue to access stored materials. Residents along East Caracas Street and near St. Paul’s and along Wilder Avenue may hear heavy equipment in the area periodically between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m.
