N Florida Ave Closed from E Frierson to W Crest

North Florida Avenue is closed between East Frierson Avenue and West Crest Avenue for stormwater and wastewater utility construction. This closure will remain through 5 p.m. Friday, May 20, 2022, barring unforeseen circumstances.

Northbound motorists on North Florida Avenue are detoured at Osborne Avenue to Nebraska Avenue. Northbound trucks should use East MLK Jr. Boulevard. Southbound motorists on North Florida Avenue are detoured at East Hillsborough Avenue to Nebraska Avenue. Access for businesses on North Florida Avenue is being maintained. Residents of West Crest Avenue west of North Florida Avenue should use Highland Avenue as an alternate route.
