Construction Begins On East Frierson Avenue July 19
East Frierson Avenue will be closed to thru traffic between North Florida Avenue and North Central Avenue. North Branch and North Seminole avenues will be closed to thru traffic between Hillsborough and East Wilder Avenues.
Construction will begin on East Frierson Avenue between North Branch Avenue and North Central Avenue Tuesday, July 19, 2022, to install stormwater pipe and inlets. This phase of work should take approximately three months, barring unforeseen conditions and inclement weather.
During this time, the intersections of East Frierson/North Branch and East Frierson/North Seminole will be blocked. East Frierson Avenue will be closed to thru traffic between North Florida Avenue and North Central Avenue. North Branch and North Seminole avenues will be closed to thru traffic between Hillsborough and East Wilder Avenues.
Residents will still have access to homes, but there will be no parking on East Frierson Avenue between North Branch and North Central avenues. Residents whose driveways are on East Frierson Avenue should park in front of their homes or on an adjacent street. Residents on North Branch and North Seminole avenues will need to access homes via alternate routes.
