Final roadway restoration at Osborne Avenue and Central Avenue will occur the week of January 2, 2024. Police will be present to support the work zone operations. The restoration work is expected to be completed by January 5, 2024.

Update on Florida Avenue

Dear Residents, work on Florida Avenue has been stopped in advance of the Thanksgiving holiday. Crews have completed the inlet repairs on the northbound lanes and will shift operations to the southbound lanes when work continues the week of November 27. One southbound lane of Florida Avenue will be closed during this time.

Upcoming Paving on Central Avenue

Asphalt paving will begin on Central Avenue from Henry Avenue south to Mohawk Avenue on Monday, November 20. The contractor will be placing the first of two layers of asphalt with the final layer to be installed at a later date. Residents will be able to access this portion of Central Avenue once the first layer has been placed. We appreciate your patience as we work to improve the utilities in Seminole Heights.

Florida Avenue Lane Closure

Dear residents, Beginning Wednesday, October 25, there will be a lane closure on Florida Avenue north of Wilder Avenue to south of Giddens Avenue. The lane closure begins at 9 a.m. and continues until 4 p.m. daily. Crews are repairing the storm water culvert openings and work is expected to be completed by November 8.
